Butterflies are beautiful insects. They fly from flower to flower, drinking nectar. They also help in pollination. A butterfly’s life cycle has four stages: egg, larva (caterpillar), pupa, and adult. They are born from eggs laid by a female butterfly. A caterpillar eats leaves and grows quickly. It then turns into a pupa, where it undergoes a big change. Finally, a beautiful butterfly comes out.
